We are passionate about all things 'rocking horse' and we seek to stock a variety of old, vintage & antique English rocking horses, modern & contemporary rocking horses & other 'horse collectables' of past and present.

Some of the horses that we have for sale may include -  F H Ayres...G&J Lines...Lines Brothers...Leach...J R Smith...Baby Carriages...& Collinsons and Sons of Liverpool...to name a few, of the makers that manufactured rocking horses throughout the Victorian & Edwardian era.

One of our specialities is to offer for sale, rocking horses, such as Collinsons & Sons...that have been refurbished in a variety of styles, including dapple grey, palomino, & coloured.
Our approach with bespoke refurbishments, is to not let tradition limit possibilities. Rocking horses are an art form in themselves & can be recreated in whatever way the client or artists imagination desires. Please click on the  our services link for more information.

Viewing of the horses by appointment is welcome. Clitheroe is a quaint market town nestled within the beautiful Ribble Valley & makes a lovely day out with its Norman castle & variety of interesting shops & coffee house stops if your feeling peckish.

Terms & Conditions

Arrangements for carriage of goods is the responsibility of customers. We are happy to provide contact details of reputable couriers. We would strongly recommend that customers confirm that couriers are fully insured for the carriage of goods. Where goods are supplied over the internet or by telephone, and the goods have not been viewed in person, FineEnglishRockingHorses comply with the Distance Selling Regulations. In those circumstances customers are entitled to cancel the sales contract within 7 days of receipt. A full refund will be given provided that the goods are returned in an undamaged state. Customers are responsible for the cost of carriage on returned goods. In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations the right to cancellation does not apply where customers have personalised the goods.
